Best on net, part 2
Just an addition to the previous post, ”Best on the Net” awards. Naturally Sitecore delivers the system, but as always it’s really the partner who delivers the actual solution that need the skills which are required to build an accessible and standards web site. Therefore, even though Sitecore can deliver the software, it would be futile if not handled by the right partner.
Also, it’s important to bring into focus the organization who is adopting the software. They must be willing to spend extra time focusing on accessibility and standards, both in daily tasks and during the development process.
When reading through the “Best on Net”, which not only counts municipalities, but also government organizations (where Sitecore also do really well), I cannot help observe that it’s the same partners that are implementers.
Especially partner, Netmester (link opens in new window) has done a great job this year, with more than half the awards on their behalf alone. Well done guys!
